Umbrella Initiatives has been nominated by the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as Non-profit of the year for the State of Maryland in working with the Latino Community. This is a great honor and it is excellent to be recognized. However, we are cognizant that the work we do only happens through your support and donations in making Umbrella Initiatives a responsive and agile organization that responds to the realities on the ground. Additionally, our work would be impossible without the countless hours of dedication from volunteers in Peru, Bolivia and here in Rockville, MD.
